Wildflowers

I've noticed over the last few days that the roadsides around where I live in Dublin have had a wonderful outgrowth of wildflowers. There has been an explosion of poppies and numerous other flowers (whose names I don't know). There is something about these kinds of flowers that always reminds me of natures ability to hang on even in the harshest of conditions. Okay, so the roadways of Dublin are hardly the harshest of conditions, but amid the tarmac and concrete there is color and beauty. Here's a selection of images of some of the roadside flora:
