DXO PhotoLab 7.6 Released and 1400 New Optics Modules Also Now Available

DXO has just released a new update for its PhotoLab Raw editing software. Photo Lab 7.6 Includes new features, new included LUTS and for a limited time is available at a reduced cost. This months Optics Module release includes 1400 new camera and lens combinations and adds support for new cameras such as the Sony A9III and the Hasselblad CFV.

DXO PhotoLab 7.6

New features include the ability to apply DCP curves at the start of the RAW editing workflow. According to the release notes the inclusion of DCP curves allows you to:

“Achieve greater consistency in contrast and colour when switching between DxO PhotoLab and Adobe Lightroom”

Also in this release according to the press release:

In PhotoLab 7 DxO introduced Look-Up Tables (LUTs) to allow users to achieve distinctive colour toning’s across a set of images, with the new update DxO adds a suite of 15 new Cinematic LUTs, two join the existing pre-installed LUTs.

With this update DxO continues to expand on its commitment to colour in PhotoLab, you will be able to work with DxO Wide Gamut, have access to DxO’s unique demosaicing of raw files, use HSL, ColorWheel and Softproof mode to achieve accurate consistent colour within your digital images.

If you’re already running Photo Lab 7 you can find the update by choosing the software update in the welcome screen.

New Optics Modules Released

New Optics Modules have also been released, which work across the DXO family. This update adds support for 1,401 new camera and lens combinations. This latest release of DxO Optics Modules enables DxO’s software to maximise the image quality of photographs to over 93,899 camera-lens combinations.
