One of the things I hate doing, and I’m terrible at, is keywording my photos. So when I read about this new plug-in that uses AI to automatically tag your images I thought it was definitely something worth giving a look.

This is actually something that I’ve wanted software companies to do for a while now. If you use Apple photos, or even the cloud version of Lightroom, they both use their machine learning to let you search your photos for objects in the scene. I always wondered why not take this further and use the same technology to automatically keyword images. Thanks to this new plug-in, called “Wordroom”, now you can.

As you can see in the video Wordroom is not perfect, but it’s still impressive, and if you work with stock agencies, or other areas where you need to have lots of keywords on your images, it could be a real time saver. You can try it out for free on 100 images. If you sign up fro a free account you can use it on up to 2000 images a month, and there are paid tiers available too, but they can get expensive.

Just to make this clear, this video or blog post isn’t sponsored. I read about this on DPReview and thought it was interesting and worth sharing.
