Some Friday Updates

I want to thank everyone for the great response to my launch of Film Candy for Lightroom the other day. The reaction was better than I had hoped and I received some really nice comments from people, so to everyone who bought a copy a sincere thank you.

Speaking of which a special shout out to Nick Brickett from Fullframeboy.co.uk who posted an amazing set of images he took in Marrakech and processed with Film Candy.

He has a blog post about it on his website and a great set on flickr. I encourage you to check it out, because the photographs are really great (And I’m not just saying that because he used Film Candy on them, honestly.)

New photography top level domains available

You may have seen this already, but there are new top level domains available including .photography. You may want to consider looking into this if you have a photography website because I’m guessing they’ll be gone pretty soon. I managed to secure mine before it was gone, so I’m now the proud owner of thomasfitzgerald.photography. Incidentally, some browsers don’t recognise the new domains yet unless you put in the http:// first and will re-direct to google.
