Street Photo Diary: Episode 4
For the latest episode of my ongoing “Street Photo Diary” series, I decided to set myself a little challenge and use one of my older cameras: a Canon 5D Mark1. The original Canon 5D was the first consumer level full frame camera, and despite getting old, I can still get some good results from it
I started off in some of the quiet parts of Dublin city, looking for details and any kind of quirky objects or scenes that I might come across, before heading into the busier heart of the city for some more people type shots. I ended up in a busy farmer’s market, which takes place every week in Dublin’s Temple Bar, before heading back through the main streets which had gotten substantially busier in the hour it had taken me to get around.
For the technical details, the video for this was shot using a combination of GoPro Hero 5 Session and Canon G7XII. I still have no proper audio solution for recording in the field, so the sound isn’t great (apologies). I’m working on solving this issue for the next video, one way or the other.
You can see a selection of the images from this video here on my Photo Journal site.
