Lightroom’s new AI Auto vs Luminar Accent AI: A Quick Comparison

One of the things that struck me about the new artificial intelligence based automatic function in Lightroom was that it sounded a lot like Luminar’s accent AI filter. I was curious to see how they would compare, so I made a quick video see.

They both produce broadly similar results, although Luminar’s is a bit more intense. I think the Lightroom version seems to err not he side of lower contrast too for some reason. Still, it’s a handy feature to have, and I’ve always been a fan of Luminar’s Accent AI. This was just a fun quick comparison too, and I wasn’t attempting to do any deep scientific analysis.
