When I announced that I was closing my store earlier this month I was blown away by the support from everyone who reads the blog, and those who have bought content from me in the past. Since it closed, I’ve had lots of requests from people who still wanted to get some of my eBooks or Styles and Presets. So, I’m trying out Gumroad to make some of these available.
Over the past few years, the one topic I’ve covered more than any other here on the blog, and in published form, is the subject of Processing Fuji Raw files. I’ve published several eBooks about Processing Fuji raw files in various software. I’ve also written a guide on how to get the best out of processing Sony A6000 files in Lightroom. Over the past few months I’ve updated all of my current Fuji guides so that they are up to date for 2019. This included free updates to three of the guides, and one new edition. The exception is my old Iridient Developer guide, which I will no longer be supporting (more on that below)
I’m having a summer sale on all of my Lightroom Presets and on my Capture One styles. There’s up to between 20% and 50% off on various presets and styles. I’ve been running this through July, and now it will continue until the end of August. If you’re looking for some great Capture One Styles or Lightroom Presets, here’s a chance to get them at a good discount.
In case you missed it, I’m having a summer sale on all of my Lightroom Presets and on my Capture One styles. There was actually a little problem with my store and it wasn’t displaying all of my Capture One styles for some reason, but this is fixed now. There’s up to between 20% and 50% off on various presets and styles. Here are some examples:
Skylum software is having a Black Friday sale, and as I’m a member of their affiliate programme, if you decide to purchase Luminar or Aurora HDR it will help out keeping the lights on here, as there’s a small commission, and as the phrase goes: "every little helps". Here’s some details as to what’s on offer.
Today, I’m happy to announce the launch of my latest set of Lightroom Presets: StreetLUX. I got the idea for StreetLUX when I was processing my most recent set of photos from my Street Photo Diary series, and I was originally using my Monolith Presets. I wanted a high contrast look, but I wanted to create something a little more “film like” so I went back to the drawing board and came up with a new set. But I didn’t stop there and I also created a set of colour presets too, which were inspired by the “chrome” style of films from the past.
I have had to temporarily disable sales on my online store as a technical problem has occurred that is affecting payment processing. I am working with the server administrators in my hosting company to resolve the issue, but in order to prevent any problems with customer purchases I am disabling sales until I can find a solution. I am also putting backup plan into place should this take too long to resolve.
I currently have three sets of black and white presets available for Lightroom and based on popular request, I’m now making them available as a single bundle. The three sets of presets are: Monolith, MonoLux and T-Pan. Each has a different style and different approach to creating the black and white look, and together I think they make a good range of styles for creating black and white images in Lightroom.
Autumn is my absolute favourite time of the year for taking photos. When the leaves on the trees start to take on their seasonal colours the landscape takes on a beautiful sheen of red and gold, there is a certain magic about the place. But it’s not just the trees, and the leaves that make Autumn special. It’s the light too. Over the years I’ve collected a large variety of Images from Autumn. I have lots of different types of Autumn images, from Landscapes to close-up images, and from this selection, I’ve created a set of wallpaper images that I think will work well as desktop wallpapers.
To celebrate the beginning of the new year, I’m having a special one week sale on all my Lightroom presets. For the next week you can get any or all of my Lightroom presets for half price, including the preset bundle. This is normally €65 but for the next week it’s only €32.
You don’t need a code either, All the prices have been cut directly on the store. The sale will end on January 10th.
As many of my long time readers and followers will know, I’ve posted lots of articles and blog posts on this site over the years about processing Fuji X-Trans files. Over the last few years, I’ve covered lots of different aspects, and I have quite a bit of information on here. I’ve been working to collate all those separate blog posts into a single guide (well, a guide for each application) and I’ve previously posted my guide for working with Capture One. Since that time I’ve been hard at work on the guide for Lightroom, and I’m delighted to say that it’s finally finished and available on my store.
To celebrate the start of spring I’m giving discounts on everything on the digital download store including all my Lightroom presets and ACR Presets and Texture Box one. I had mentioned this briefly in a previous post, and that it was for this week only, but I’ve decided to extend it for the whole month. To take advantage of this, all you need to do is use the following coupon code at the checkout:
springishere
This will give you 20% off your total purchase. You can use it as often as you want for the month of March.
I had mentioned last week that I was almost ready to release Film Candy 2 for Lightroom, and I'm delighted to announce that the new set of presets is now available from my digital download store. Film Candy 2 has been a labour of love for the past year, and I'm really happy to finally make it available.
Just a quick site update for Monday morning. As part of my ongoing effort to pacify my image archive and library, I've been simplifying the license structure for images available for sale through my archive. As modern standards continue to evolve in web design, some of the existing image sizes are no longer relevant. Most major libraries are now moving to a one size per license and so I've decided to do something similar.
