New Fuji Colour Profile Presets for Lightroom
A while ago I made a set of presets for Fuji users which are based on the Fuji film simulation colour profiles as provided by Adobe. these presets are basically just a quick way to set the colour profile by selecting a preset rather than having to go to the camera calibration panel and select the profile there. They also have the advantage of allowing you to set the profiles on import, or allowing you to quickly apply a profile to multiple images at once.
What makes Fuji’s X-Trans sensor unique (An excerpt from my Fuji X-Trans Lightroom Processing Guide Booklet)
When I launched my latest guide book for processing X-Trans images in Lightroom, I promised that I’d publish a few excerpts from it, so here, as promised is a small segment….
Choosing a raw processor for Fuji X-Trans Files
I've covered post processing of Fuji X-Trans files fairly extensively over the last two years on this blog. In particular I've discussed how, if you're a Lightroom user, using a third party raw converter can give you much better results than just using Lightroom or Camera Raw when working with X-Trans files. I've used and written about Photo Ninja and Iridient Developer the most, but since Phase One have released Capture One Pro 8, I've been giving that a good work out too (and I'll have a report on that in a week or two)
