How to enable the Highlight Clipping warning on the X-Pro 2 with Firmware 4.0
One of the highly anticipated new features in the latest Firmware update for the X-Pro 2 was the addition of highlight clipping warning in Live view. While you could get the “blinkies” previously in playback, there was no option to see them in live view until now. After you install firmware 4.0, you still need to enable it in the menu in order to turn it on.
In this video I walk you through the process. It’s not actually that hard. You just have to turn it on in the custom display options, which is a little hurried in the menus and so that’s why I decided to make a quick video to show you the exact location, if you’re not familiar with the custom display menu already.
If you don’t want to watch the video (it’s really short), it’s basically in the following location:
Menu > Set Up (Spanner Icon) > Screen Setup > Display Custom Setting > EVF/LCD > Live View Highlight Alert
By the way, I’m trying to grow my YouTube channel, so if you found this useful, please like the video as it helps it get found on YouTube and if you have the time, stop by and subscribe to my channel!.
