Sometimes it too easy to think of cities as cold and industrial. I'm the first to admit that I often approach shooting streets capes and city shots that way, looking for urban decay and industrial textures and patterns, but cities can be also be alive with nature, whether it's in parks or just by the sides of the road, or in pavements and hidden gardens. You just have to know where to look. So, I figured I'd do something a little different for this post, and instead of showing the decay of the city here's some images of growth instead. Taken in some of the cities parks and also in small patches of land by the road, and by the small rivers in the suburbs where I live. For this interested in the technical details, these were taken with the Sony Nex-7 using both the 18-55mm and Sigma 30mm lenses. I've also put links to higher res versions for those with larger screens, so just click on an image to view it larger.
