My First Photo Walk of 2014
It was a nice sunny, albeit cold day here in Dublin yesterday, so I decided to head into the city for my first Photo Wander of the new year. Actually, I did have a goal in mind. We have had quite a stormy holiday season, and I had read on the news that there was a high tide and that the boardwalk along the Liffey had been closed. I wanted to get some photos of that, but as always, I kept my eyes open as I took a roundabout way to get there. Before I left it was a toss up as to which camera I would take for the task. On the one hand, I wanted to go lightly, but on the other, I like the flexibility that my 28-300 offers me on my big D700. In the end light won out, and I took the XE1. Anyway, on with the show, as it were...
