New Capture One Book from Alexander Svet - "Capture One Hidden Features"

Alexander Svet from the popular Capture One focussed site “Alex on Raw” has released a new book on Capture One. Titled “Capture One Hidden Features”, the book contains “200+ Pro Hints To Enhance Your Capture One Workflow”. Alex was kind enough to send me a copy to review, and also provide my readers with a 10% discount.

I’ve only had a quick look through the book so far, and I’ll have a full review once I’ve had some time to fully read it through, but based on my initial reading, it’s pretty interesting. He covers a lot of topics in quite significant detail, and even just scanning through it, I’ve already seen a couple of things that I wasn’t aware of. There’s some really interesting stuff on colour correction for example.

There’s actually quite a dearth of good Capture One training material out there, and it’s great to see something like this from a respected source. Alex has been running a site on Capture One for as long as I can remember, and when I first started learning about it, his was one of the few sites also covering the software. The book isn’t really geared at beginners though, and isn’t a manual replacement guide. But for anyone with a passing knowledge of the software that wants to learn more, based on what I’ve read so far, it looks like a great addition to your (virtual) bookshelf.
