Capture One Basics - Exposure Tools & Controls
A quick tutorial on the basics of using the exposure controls in Capture One. I look at using the exposure, shadows, highlights, blacks and whites, and levels and curves controls in Capture One on a real world image.
This video was actually requested by someone on my Facebook group, who wanted to know more about the basic exposure controls, and how the various options interacted, so rather than go through them all one by one in a boring kind of way, I took a “normal” image and walked through the process of “correcting” the photo, using various tools in the “Exposure” tab in Capture One. I dodn't want to take something that required a ton of corrections either, as that's the situation most people are in. I also probably made it look a bit more complicated than it actually is, as I was going into different options and expalining them, but an image liek this would typically be edited in a few seconds.
Anyway, this was kind of an off the cuff video, so I'm not sure if it gets across the intended message or not, but hopefully you can take somehting from it.
