Editing a Fuji X-Pro 2 Shoot with X-Transformer and Lightroom

Perhaps it is the designer in me, but I love capturing images of details, whether it’s graffiti, street art, quirky objects, or simply bold colours and textures. Dublin city is full of these sights. I recently set out on a photo walk/shoot to capture a set of this kind of imagery for my Streets of Dublin project, and I decided to record the process of processing these when I got back to the computer.

I had been using my X-Pro 2 and I wanted to process the mages with X-Transformer before editing with Lightroom. Normally I would bring everything into Lightroom first and then process just the selects, but I didn’t want to have to deal with the hassle of multiple versions, so I decided to convert the straight off the memory card. Once converted I then imported into Lightroom and did some basic edits.

I was really happy with how they turned out. I didn’t go through every image individually in the video, and I made some of the editing section into time-lapses as it was just too boring otherwise. When I was editing it, I realised that I couldn’t even sit through it, so I cut it down and sped some sections up, but you still get to see my process. You can see the final set of images and the accompanying blog post over on my Streets of Dublin website.
